Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA on this website. Here is what we have done, the gaps we know about, and how to reach us if something is not working for you.

Effective August 5, 2026

01

Our commitment

Liberty Compounding Pharmacy is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, magnification, speech input, keyboard-only navigation or other assistive technology.

Accessibility is treated as ongoing work rather than a finished state. As we add or change features we test them, and we fix barriers as we find them or as they are reported to us.

02

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most widely referenced for public-facing websites.

We describe this as a target rather than a guarantee. Some content may not yet fully conform, and third-party components or embedded services we do not control may fall short. Where a barrier exists, we will provide the information or service through another reasonable means at no additional cost to you.

03

What we have done

Steps taken on this site include:

  • semantic landmarks and a logical heading order so screen readers can navigate by structure;
  • keyboard access to navigation, menus and forms, with visible focus indicators;
  • accessible names and ARIA states on interactive controls, including the expandable navigation menus;
  • form fields with associated labels, and validation errors announced and linked to the field they describe;
  • text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology;
  • color combinations chosen for contrast, with color never used as the only way to convey meaning;
  • respect for the operating-system reduced motion setting, which turns off animation and smooth scrolling;
  • layouts that reflow for zoom and small screens without loss of content or function.
04

Known limitations

We would rather name gaps than imply there are none. As of the effective date above:

  • The therapy and dosage-form rails scroll horizontally. They are reachable by keyboard and by anchor link, but horizontal scrolling can be awkward with some assistive technology.
  • Some decorative motion on the home page is driven by scroll position. It is disabled when reduced motion is set, but may still be distracting for some visitors.
  • Documents or third-party pages we link to are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.

If any of these prevents you from getting what you need, contact us and we will help you directly.

05
